so..

I forgot how much this meant to me...

every night I would come home & blog. I would stay up for wee hours of the night blogging!! I loved it so much, I loved everything about my life at one point. Things change.

I really have let my life slip away.. my happiness, my motivation. I'm working out all these things and Its hard. Its hard because of judgement. My situation and my lifestyle is so easily judged these days. its just really hard to even sit down and think about what to say without causing someone to get upset or think that I'm a horrible person. So i'll leave it at that. I'm still here. I'm still me. I've made big changes in my life. I started living for me.. and look where it got me.





On a happier side of life: My absolutely beautiful nephew came into the world yesterday at 1:00pm. He is the joy of my life, nothing else matters when I look at him. He is perfect & a true blessing. Maveric Leighton Joe McFann 7lbs 1 oz 21inches long. ♥

Hey Ladies!!

So I've made some big changes in my life here lately.. This being a small one. I have long hair again!! :) I love it.


Please.. give me a few days to settle my chaotic life and I will be back with a huge update!!

what to say..

I'm laying in my big comfy bed contemplating what to blog about.
Nothing comes to mind!! I'm soo sleepy, but very much ready for this 3 day weekend.. oh wait! I dont get labor day off, i'll be celebrating by working!! but.,. on a side note.I'm thankful I have a job.
I could also tell you about how hetic my week has been, but I wont.

So.. I made a to do list today and this is seriously how long it is. please prepare youself.

-Clean!!! Honestly.. if anyone wants to come clean my house, I'll let you :)

-Change out my summer decorations for fall ones!

-My poor car needs a bath!

- My sister's baby shower is in two weeks, any ideas for games or table decorations? i want something creative???

-Finish shopping for my sister's baby, so far I have just bought clothes, but I was really wanting to do something creative for a gift, once again any ideas??

-Finish my bathroom!! ahh! So i ended up buying the zebra print. but.. I didnt want to paint my room over, i wanted to add wallpaper where the ohio state paper is now. So i may have to go with something else. as soon as i finish, i'll post pics!!

-Catch my scrapbook up.

dye my hair back. if you noticed, I put highlights in it. I'm not a fan right now. I like solid colors on me.


So.. with that being said, I'll answer the questions I got from my last post!


Q-Okay, well I'll start off! I don't know you at all, so how about a simple one? What do you do to unwind after a long day? =)

A- I love to take walks or go tan.. or Sometims if the weather is cool and crisp, I love sitting on the front porch in my big comfy rocking chair. Sometimes I enjoy company, others time I just love to sit and stare into the sky.. its relaxing :)


Q-Hey Kristen! You always wear the cutest clothes...where do you shop at mostly?
A-Body Central. Belk. Target. & Dots. and i love walmart's line too!!



Q-what would you do if you had an hour to do ANYTHING you wanted?
A-feed hungery children.


Q-If you could go anywhere for vacation...where would you go?
A-somewhere tropical

Q-do you ever take ugly pictures? lol...if so can you post one...lol Anyone ever tell you that you could be a model?
A- Yes i do take horrible pictures. however I am very thankful for a beautiful smile God has blesses me with! I wore braces for 4 years!! the modeling thing.. aww.. not for me. My twin sister modeled for years and I just admired that she was so beautiful.

Q-Hey. I'm a new reader, so you may have answered these before. Where did you get those tie-up curtains in your living room? They're so cute.What are your favorite stores to find home decor type stuff?
A- I have local shops that I buy stuff at but ebay and searching for primitive items is always fabulous :) and my curtains came from value city for 3.00 dollars a piece before they closed.


Q-What are your favorite beauty/skincare/fragrance items?Thanks!
A- I use Mary Kay a lot :) or Clinique

Q-You always hear about twins who can basically read each others thoughts. So, do you and your sister have twin "telepathy"?
A- WE DO!! so many stories go along with this, I'll tell the shorest one. 8th grade year my sister and I ran track, i was waiting for her to finish her hurdle race, when she got to about the 4th Hurdle, I felt this horrible sharp pain in my knee, and I looked at my mom and said" chelle tore her knee up, i know it, i felt it. Sure enough 1 minute later she is being carried to the nearest car with a torn ACL!! so it can be true in most people. :)

Q-What is your favorite season?
A- FALL!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Q-where do you work?? you talk about your job but don't remember if you said where..
I work at a Long Term Care Facility, i'm a COTA/L (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) and I take care of mostly alzhiemer's patients. I abosutely loveee my job!



Q-What are you most looking forward to this fall?!?
A- Scarfs!! decorating for fall!! its my favorite and my nephew entering the world!!
